Gisundo soy sauce (기순도), a product in the K-Ribbon Selection's Hansik category, is a delicious condiment made using a 10-month traditional fermentation and aging process.

Thirty-five new products selected last month by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as 2016 Korea Premium Products are now hitting the shelves under the K-Ribbon Selection label.

The collection broadly falls into four categories: Hanbok, Hansik dishes, food products and handicrafts. The products include 11 handicraft works, like jewelry and brassware, 13 Hanbok clothing items, one prix fixe Hansik menu, and 10 food products.

Callon by Lynn, a brand of children's Hanbok, adds a range of toddler-sized outfits to the list of 2016 Korea Premium Products.

These products are available for purchase until Nov. 9 at 12 pop-up stores around the country, including the K-Style Hub in Seoul, the Contents Korea Lab in Busan and the Asia Culture Center in Gwangju, among others.

They can also be found at Naver's Store Farm, in Makers with Kakao, and on the Korea International Trade Association's Kmall24 website.

In countries like the Philippines, Spain, Japan and Hong Kong, they will be introduced at the local Korean Cultural Centers and at various shopping malls.

"We are planning to develop the range of products offered under the K-Ribbon Selection label, offering creative and well-made products that tell a story," said Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Cho Yoonsun. "Our ministry will work to raise awareness of Korea's premium products, so they can be recognized as works of art in the market."
